I should work for Disney...

I've decided I should work for Disney... I love it that much, I might as well... lol! Anyway, here are 4 more cards from Vicki. Just a few more to add to her page ;) "Character is like a tree, and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing." ~ Abraham Lincoln
"When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
"Love is a serious mental disease." ~Plato
"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school." ~Albert Einstein

2 more cards from the Wahiawa Family Dental Care office... that's NOT my dentist... lol

I think it's quite awesome that they're very patriotic, and happened to come on the same week my soldier husband came home :)
This next card I got through private swap with Tonnie from the Netherlands :) I requested windmills, and she totally delivered! It even came with a pretty neat pamphlet of a stretch of windmills in Holland that I'd love to see in person one day...

My friend Mel in Australia sent me this beautiful card "just because". I like those the best...

I saw this card on facebook, and loved it. I was so happy that I was able to get a copy of it all for myself :) Thank you Rita! I LOVE this card! Dragons, and the color blue... 2 of my favorite things together on 1 card :p

Brian Kent sent me this next card with a poem written on it:

"My heart is at home in Africa.
Where the sound of drums beat in my chest.
And the songs of time ring in my ears.
Where the rainbow mist glows in my eyes.
And the smiles of friends make me welcomed.
My mind is at ease in Africa where the people still live close to the soil.
And the seasons mark my changing moods where the amrkets bustle with trading.
And creation keeps its own slow time.
My sould is at peace in Africa.
For her streams bring life blood to my veins.
And her winds bring healing to my dreams.
For when the tale of this land is told.
Her destiny and mine are as one."
~ Wayne Visser. Poetry recitation, Irma starn museum, University of Cape Town, South Africa :)

So fitting for me and my love of the country I was born in, that's for sure. Thank you Brian.

Constanze sent me another card... Oh how I love Van Gogh ;) haha! Thank you again Constanze!

I saw this card on a Facebook postcrossing group I belong to, and instantly fell in love. I like castles a lot, and really wish we still lived in an age of beautiful constructions such as these. Thank you Tamayre!

Stefanie Langenberg requested a swap with me through facebook :) It's awesome. I like it a lot! Apparently it's of a city of about 160,000 inhabitants in Lower Saxony, Germany. It was founded around 780 AD, and played a major role at the end of the 30 year war in 1648. The peace treaty to end that war was signed in Osnabnick and Munster :) Thank you Stefanie!

This next envelope came with an awesome surprise for me. It's Sleeping Beauty's castle in France!! 3 pages of information about the castle, a couple pictures of the mannequins inside the castle, and a postcard of Disneyland Paris, with an awesome cutout of Mickey's head ;) How cool!! Thank you SO much Bernadette!!!
